NEW: SBE Prizes 2012
The
Sociedad de Biofísica de España has awarded these prizes for the current 2012 edition.
1. Premio Bruker España SA. Recognizes a work done in España. It will be shared by Dr Antonio V. Ferrer Montiel (Universidad Miguel Hernández, Elche) and by Dr. Marta Bruix Bayés (Instituto de Química Física Rocasolano, CSIC, Madrid).
2. Premio Grupo Werfen-Izasa-Beckman-Coulter. Addressed to biophysicists below 40 and takes into account the whole of the work carried out, although with preference to that done in España. It has been awarded to Dr. José Manuel Gómez Vilar (Unidad de Biofísica, CSIC-UPV, Lejona, Vizcaya).
3. Premio SBE. Addressed to biophysiscits below 33. The whole of the work published will be considered (independently of the country in which it was done).
It goes to Dr Sergi García Manyes (King´s College, University of London, U.K.).
